The Iowa Foundation for Justice (IFJ) is the 501(c)(3) public education and community service arm of the Iowa Association for Justice. The Foundation supports efforts to educate Iowans about the role that trial lawyers play in helping Iowans pursue justice in our courts, even when taking on the most powerful institutions. The Foundation is building a fund that will endow both IAJ's communications and education staff positions, and they have a plan to accomplish this within 10 years. In addition, the Iowa Foundation for Justice provides program support for trial lawyer service initiatives such as:
• The Justice In Deed program, which pairs Iowa trial lawyers with community organizations in need of assistance. Justice In Deed has completed over 50 successful projects.
• The Byard & Marcia Braley Scholarship for Injured Workers and their families, which has helped numerous Iowans in search of further education.
• The Safe Cycling Project, which has provided thousands of bicycle safety helmets to Iowa kids.
Contributions enable us to reach our goal of fully endowing IAJ’s communication and education staff positions within the next 10 years.
Don’t forget, donations to the foundation are fully tax deductible.
