Summary
The ramifications of pediatric concussions are important for personal injury lawyers to be aware of when representing a child, especially where grade report cards showed the child was performing well academically pre-injury and academic performance subsequently worsened post-injury.
Dr. Patrick Quaid will share his experience and research, published in both optometric and medical journals, on the effects of concussions on the visual system, including the effect of eye teaming issues on reading efficiency.
Joining Dr. Quaid will be trial attorney Michelle Jorge, past Director on the Board of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and a former AAJ State Delegate and Board of Governor.
